Regional / Global Screening Policies

The Singapore Health System has initiated a “National Health Screening Program “Screen for Life” with screening recommendations based on age and gender, and pre-existing conditions for cervical breast and colorectal cancers. Although the incidence of cancer has increased the proportion of patients presenting with advanced cancer has significantly decreased. They have instituted a series of biomarker and radiological screening studies for gastric, colorectal and lung cancer.
