The “European Beating Cancer Plan” is described with the goal of increasing participation in all European countries with standardized cancer prevention and screening guidelines to reduce the cancer burden. These include tobacco cessation, use of cancer anti-viral vaccines, and screening for breast, uterine cervix, lung, and colorectal cancer. A European Cancer Inequalities Registry shows performance and adherence for each European country at https://cancer-inequalities.jic.ec.europa.eu.
