Breast cancer is one of the best models showing how neoadjuvant therapy in defined molecular phenotypes leads to de-escalation of surgery and radiation therapies, and better selection of treatment after surgery, including switching to a second line systemic therapy when patients don’t have a complete or near complete response to the first line neoadjuvant therapy.

A simple collection of a woman’s tears has been shown to detect early breast cancer and can be used as a biomarker to in high-risk women or for surveillance of recurrence after breast cancer treatment.

The NCCN guidelines for screening and diagnosis of breast cancer are used worldwide and available in multiple languages.
